Make this easy, no bake pecan pie dip for a creamy, sweet holiday treat that captures classic pecan pie flavor without the fuss.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped to stiff peaks
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Dippers: graham crackers, apple slices, pretzels, vanilla wafers

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gently fold the whipped heavy cream into the cream cheese mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture into a shallow serving dish. Chill for at least 30 minutes while you prepare the topping.
  4. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, melted butter, corn syrup, and salt.
  5. Stir constantly until the mixture bubbles and thickens slightly, about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat immediately.
  6. Pour the warm pecan caramel topping evenly over the chilled cream cheese base.
  7. Chill the dip for at least 1 hour before serving.
  8. Serve cold with your choice of dippers.

Notes

  • For a richer caramel flavor, you can substitute maple syrup for the corn syrup.
  • This dip tastes best when served cold, but you can let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving for easier dipping.
  • This is a great make-ahead dessert; cover and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
