Before there was YumDrizzle, there was the hum of a tour bus and the endless stretch of American highway. For years, Jax lived life on the road, not as a chef, but as a roadie for a touring band. In that blur of sound checks and city lights, his real culinary education began.

In every new town, he made it his mission to find the soul of the city’s flavor. He bypassed the fancy restaurants in favor of the legendary food trucks of Austin, the timeless diners of Chicago, and the hidden gems where local cooks worked magic. He learned that incredible flavor wasn’t about complicated techniques or rare ingredients; it was about passion, resourcefulness, and a deep respect for the food. He started experimenting, recreating those unforgettable dishes on a simple hot plate, sharing his discoveries with his bandmates.

After trading the roar of the crowd for the sizzle of a skillet, Jax realized something essential.
