You can make this easy Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna with minimal effort. This hands-off recipe layers frozen ravioli, rich meat sauce, and plenty of cheese, letting your slow cooker create a hearty, cheesy Italian dinner perfect for any busy weeknight.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (24 ounce) package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar quality marinara sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage, cooked and drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) container ricotta cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for topping
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  2. Lightly coat the bottom of a 5-quart or 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray or a small amount of sauce.
  3. Create the first layer by spreading about 1 cup of marinara sauce over the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Arrange half of the frozen ravioli in a single layer over the sauce.
  5. Spread half of the ricotta cheese mixture evenly over the ravioli layer.
  6. Sprinkle 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese over the ricotta.
  7. Spoon half of the cooked ground meat mixture over the cheese.
  8. Repeat the layers: remaining marinara sauce, remaining ravioli, remaining ricotta mixture, remaining meat mixture.
  9. Top the final layer with the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and a sprinkle of extra Parmesan cheese.
  10. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours or on HIGH for 1.5 to 2 hours, until the ravioli is tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before you serve it. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use frozen meat-filled ravioli if you prefer a heartier dish.
  • If you skip cooking the meat beforehand, add about 30 minutes to the low cooking time.
  • For a richer flavor, use a high-quality, slow-simmered marinara sauce.
